Multi-room IPTV in Ireland
Two people watching entirely different channels, in different rooms, at the same time. One subscription, one payment, roughly five euro a month more than a single-stream plan.
It's about simultaneous streams
This is the single most misunderstood thing about IPTV plans, and it costs people money in both directions — some buy a bigger plan than they need, others assume they can't install on a second television when they can.
"A 1-device plan means I can only install it on one device."
This is what the wording suggests, and it's why people buy a larger plan than they need. It isn't how the limit works.
You can install on as many devices as you like.
The limit is how many can stream at the same moment. A 1-device plan lets you move freely between a Firestick, a smart TV and a phone — just not all at once.
Three households where it pays
The upgrade is worth about five euro a month. These are the situations where that's obviously money well spent — and if none of them describe you, stay on the single-stream plan.
Two matches, one Saturday
The fixture clash is the classic case. Championship in the sitting room, football in the kitchen, nobody negotiating over the remote. This is the reason most people upgrade.
Different tastes, same house
One person on the sport, another on a box set, a child on cartoons in another room. Everyday viewing rather than a specific event, and where a household of three or four notices the limit most.
A second property
A holiday home, a family member elsewhere, or a caravan. One subscription covering both locations, provided no more than two streams run at any moment.
Two streams, one connection
Both streams share the same broadband line, so the requirement roughly doubles. This is the part worth checking before you upgrade — a second stream on a line that can't carry it makes both worse.
| Two streams of | Line speed | Connection | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| HD + HD | 20–25 Mbps | Wi-Fi usually fine | Comfortable on any Irish fibre package. |
| 4K + HD | 35 Mbps | Wire the 4K one | The common real-world combination. |
| 4K + 4K | 50 Mbps | Wired strongly advised | Both at full ultra-HD on one line. |
| 4K sport + 4K sport | 55–60 Mbps | Wired | Fast motion carries a higher bitrate than film. |
About five euro a month more
Here is every plan side by side so you can see the actual difference rather than comparing two separate pages.
| Plan length | 1 device | 2 devices | Extra per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 Month | €14.99 | €24.00 | +€9.01 |
| 3 Months | €29.99 | €45.00 | +€5.00 |
| 6 Months | €44.99 | €75.00 | +€5.00 |
| 12 Months | €65.00 | €130.00 | +€5.42 |

Multi-room questions
No. You can install your credentials on as many devices as you like. The limit is how many can stream at the same moment — a 1-device plan allows one at a time, so you can move between a Firestick, a television and a phone freely.
The second device shows a message about maximum connections being reached. Nothing breaks and no charge is applied — close the stream on the first device and the second will connect. It is the limit working as intended.
Yes. Message us and we calculate the difference between what you paid and the 2-device price for your remaining term. Your existing credentials stay the same, so nothing needs setting up again on any device.
They can be in different locations, such as a holiday home or a caravan, provided both are your own household use. Sharing credentials with another household breaches our Terms and can result in suspension.
Around 50 Mbps between them, since both share the same connection. A wired connection on at least one television is strongly advised, because two 4K streams over Wi-Fi at opposite ends of a house is where problems appear.
Our standard plans cover one or two simultaneous streams. If you need more, message us on WhatsApp and we will quote for it — but check your broadband can carry three concurrent streams before committing.

What we supply. IPTV Ireland provides subscription access and playlist credentials. Player applications such as TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are third-party software made by other companies — our guides show you how to configure them, and support covers anything server-side. Simultaneous stream limits are enforced per subscription; credentials are for your own household use only.
