WHAT'S COVERED

Every code, one subscription

There's no sports add-on and no separate tier. Every plan carries the full sports lineup alongside the 54,000+ general channels and the 170,000+ film and series library.

GAA

Championship football and hurling through the summer, club fixtures and provincial rounds. The season that matters most to Irish households, and the reason a lot of people look for this in the first place.

Football

English and European league football, domestic cup competitions and international qualifiers. Midweek European nights and weekend fixtures, in 4K where the source carries it.

Rugby

International championships through the spring, autumn internationals, and club rugby across the season. Provincial fixtures included alongside the wider competitions.

Racing

Horse racing from Irish and UK meetings through the flat and jumps seasons, plus greyhound racing. Festival weeks carry extended coverage.

Boxing & MMA

Fight nights and pay-per-view events, including the late cards that fall outside normal broadcast hours in Ireland. No separate charge per event.

Motorsport & golf

Race weekends across the motorsport calendar, and golf tournaments including the majors. Both benefit noticeably from the higher-bitrate feeds.

A note on what we can promise. Sports rights change hands regularly, and any provider claiming a permanent guarantee on specific fixtures is overstating it. What we can say is that the sports lineup is comprehensive, updated daily, and that the 24-hour free trial exists precisely so you can check the fixtures you care about before paying anything.
TWO
MULTI-ROOM

Two matches, two rooms

Saturday afternoons are the reason multi-room exists. A 2-device plan lets two people watch entirely different fixtures at the same time, on separate televisions, from one subscription.

  • Two simultaneous streams on different channels
  • Any mix of devices — TV, stick, phone or tablet
  • From €10.83 per month on the 12-month plan
  • Upgrade mid-term — we charge only the difference

Watching alone? 1-device plans start at €5.42/month →

PICTURE QUALITY

Sport is the hardest test

Fast motion is what separates a good stream from a bad one. A film can hide compression in still frames; a hurling sliotar crossing the screen cannot. Sports feeds carry higher bitrates for exactly that reason, and they need a little more headroom on your line.

4K sport25 Mbps5 GHz or wiredHigher bitrate than 4K film, because of the motion.

Peak evening useAdd ~20% headroomWiredIrish lines are most contended between 7pm and 11pm.
Wire the television if you can. An ethernet adapter costs a few euro and does more for stream stability during a big match than any other single change. Wi-Fi is fine most of the time; wired is fine all of the time. Performance varies by provider and area — see our coverage notes for Ireland.

Sports questions

No. Pay-per-view events are included in every plan at no additional charge. There is no sports tier and no per-event fee, so a fight night costs the same as an ordinary evening.

Yes, on a 2-device plan. That allows two simultaneous streams on different channels and different devices. A 1-device plan allows one stream at a time, though you can move it between devices freely.

Around 25 Mbps for a single 4K stream, and 50 Mbps for two at once. Sport needs slightly more than film at the same resolution because fast motion carries a higher bitrate. A wired connection helps more than raw speed.

All streaming carries some delay against a satellite or terrestrial broadcast, usually a few seconds. This is inherent to how streaming works rather than specific to us, and it is worth knowing if you are following a match on social media at the same time.

Yes, and we would encourage it. Request a 24-hour free trial and browse the full sports lineup on your own connection before paying anything. No card details are required for a trial.

Peak evening hours are when Irish broadband is most contended, and a major fixture puts every household on the same connection at once. Wiring the television with an ethernet adapter is the single most effective fix.

What we supply. IPTV Ireland provides subscription access and playlist credentials. Player applications such as TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro are third-party software made by other companies — our guides show you how to configure them, and support covers anything server-side. Sport categories and channel numbers shown on this page are illustrative; lineups are updated daily and the free trial is the reliable way to confirm current coverage.
